The Inception of Gallivant Ice Creams

To gallivant is to go from one place to another in search of pleasure and joy. That is exactly how our Founder and CEO, Snehee, spent her time in the years leading up to creating our brand: Gallivant Mawa Ice Creams.

Snehee has been to 57 countries and counting, and her travels have introduced her to a wide range of culinary flavors and cuisines. After each of her trips ended, she longed to bring these flavors home with her and wanted to share them with others. That is, essentially, what Gallivant Mawa Ice Creams does. Gallivant is more than just an ice cream; it is a journey. Each pint of ice cream is packed with authentic flavors and culture that you can experience from the comfort of your own home.

Snehee is a food safety scientist by training, so she combined her technical skills in food science with her passion for travel to create a brand that featured the tastes of her travels. From this came the birth of Gallivant Mawa Ice Creams, a line of ice cream flavors from across the globe that slow cooked to perfection with silky caramelized notes.

Gallivant Mawa Ice Creams has grown and evolved so much throughout the past year, but the brand has stayed true to its name: each ice cream flavor offers a taste of a specific culture. Flavors now come in Cardamom inspired by Guatemalan flavors, Chocolate inspired by African flavors, Pistachio inspired by Persian flavors, Black Sesame inspired by Chinese flavors, Mango inspired by Indian flavors, Vanilla inspired by Madagascar flavors, Coffee inspired by Vietnamese flavors, Matcha inspired by Japanese flavors, and Coconut inspired by Thai flavors. Each variation of Gallivant Mawa Ice Creams is as unique and authentic as the cuisines they are inspired by, and they perfectly encapsulate what Snehee found in her travels.
