According to SAVE FOOD: Global Initiative on Food Loss and Waste Reduction by Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of United Nations, nearly 1/3 of the world’s food production is wasted annually! Food is discarded or wasted through the supply chain due to many reasons: over-production, damage, processing errors, and expirations. Additionally, food requires significant energy and resources to be produced, processed, packaged, and delivered to your plate.

Reducing environmental footprint is a strong goal with every project taken upon by TFS. This is further enabled by WasteWise, an initiative by EPA.
We analyse our impacts from raw materials coming in through to packaged final products and everything in between.
